Drink the nanny state!

Yes but the 24/7 drinking was due to severe lobbying from larger breweries and the smoking ban. Nothing to do with consumer preferences.

I got six bottles of this through today, and I've just cracked the first open (not like it's going to get me drunk!)

Ooo... it's an odd brew. It's smells incredible - exactly like a bag of hops, and I mean fresh, unbrewed hops. And the taste is like no other beer I've had. It's decidedly watery, and the taste is so purely hop it's hard to place any other flavour in there.

Certainly worth experiencing. Not sure yet what I actually think of it.

This is a lovely marketing exercise but the truth of the matter is; Scotland is drinking herself to death.

They need to be told what to do by the state because, collectively, The Scots have proven incapable of making the correct behavioural choices when it comes to drink.

No matter what they say, Alcohol is a huge problem in Scotland. 66% of ambulances at the weekends are due to alcohol.

While I admire their pop at the critics, is there really a need for a beer that strong?

I don't really see a problem with it. Perhaps its people's attitudes towards drink that need to change. Otherwise, you may as well get rid of any alcoholic spirits.

That's a problem with people, not with alcohol. You can't fix the issue without tackling the source of the problem.
