Driveclub more details

love the effects - but not convinced on the droplets on the windshield - would they do that ?

admittedly I dont drive at race speeds but I don't ever recall seeing an effect like that

Got Driveclub today , very happy :D

It's a cool game isn't it! So close to the platinum on this now... Am now 205/205 on the tour and have 45/45 on 1 expansion and 44/45 on the other 3. Always one event that is too ricky! Don't get me started on a rainly 'Venom hot lap!'

That Murrusia Drift challenge took me about 30 attempts. PITA that one.

Key was to keep the speed up. One drift I got 3000 points.

So determined to finish that main tour now. I've enjoyed the single player, very challenging to me.

Yep you really need to master drifitng! All about approach ultimately when you master how to get a long drift going it becomes easy.

drifting in this game is a waste of space IMO! you get nothing for clean drifts, good angles etc.. that's why you see people spinning out, driving the wrong way etc on challenges to gain more points - just dumb

plus cars seem to be under-powered to keep the drift going which is even worse?! because an m4 for e.g. should have no problems keeping a drift going but it just stalls and runs out of poof.

I would agree that it's not the best representation of drifting I've ever seen in a game, and borders on frustration often. Having a drift mode seems obligitary these days is what I first thought, the scoring is indeed rather linear, though i don't notice how you can cheat by going back wards? I tried to glitch by re doing parts of a track and it wouldn't let me score any points.

Got this and forza horizon 2 for Christmas. Seem to be spending most of my time on forza as its just so much fun.
Driveclub sure is pretty though. Depending on what course your on. Some courses like the chile ones look photorealistic where as the Scotland ones to me not so much.
Loving the weather though.
If I was going to show this game off id definatly have it raining heavy as it looks amazing.
I do feel as though it needs more courses though.Didnt take me long to drive them all.

I got Drive Club amongst about 5 or other games over xmas and my birthday just before it figure the best people to ask as to whether I break the seal or not is you lot... I've played GT and Forza before, preferred the GT setup but possibly the racing in forza... is the AI on a train track like GT or do they actually move about and crash etc?? Basically keep or trade?
