Driving Laws!

Hey, right guys i dont know weather this has been posted, but i heard the driving laws are going up 2 18, on the 1st jan? can they do this as i been saving up for my tests for a few months and i already bought my car!

Yes, this is true.

Sorry, you now have to wait another year. The government decided to introduce this using simply word of mouth advertising this time.

Yeah I heard its going up to 18 on the 1st Jan. Feel for those that are just a little too young!

I heard that you can learn when your 17 but can't take your test until your 18? Is that true?

Glad i passed 2 months after i was 17! 6 hours a week was worth it, shame i had to wait a month for the test!

It also coincides with new rules that you can only drive cars under 1.2 until you are 21.

well i got my test on DEC 20th, and if a fail, im still alright caus i turn 18 on the 21st of DEC.

unlucky though.

should have been 18 years ago, but the government were too happy to take the tax from all the petrol. Now there's too many cars on the road it was obvious this was going to happen.

Ideally they should make it 21, that would then sort out all the problems with student parking near Clifton, Bristol.

Diesels are allowed up to 2.0 though as they are "better for the environment". I hate Labour.
