thanks for the info chaps. looks like at around £500 then and i should do my theory first. any books or dvds i should get to aid me? i seen something on that big online game store. mucho thankies.
 
I'm in a similar position. I've never been all that interested in driving but I've just applied for my provisional. I thought it might be a good idea to learn how to drive but it looks really boring. Speed bumps, speed cameras, traffic lights, pedestrians. Sounds like one big headache to me.
 
Been driving 21yrs, at first i loved it but now it just part of everyday life and nothing special or exciting.
