Nobody is glossing over it. The OP already said the temps increased when adding the 3080 and that is what prompted the OP to move the rad. It is quite obvious that the increased wattage of that component will be increasing temperature in the case. Why is everyone glossing over the 3080 was what changed things. Not surprising really as it is higher wattage and exhausts the hot air differently. In that particular case it's probably enough to increase the temps substantially.
The OP simply stated the difference it made to the temps when moving the rad. Its a bigger difference than I expected, but if airflow is insufficient to exhaust the excess heat, that's certainly going to explain it.
Thanks for the tips. I assume your fans in are running at a lower RPM than the exhaust fans? Otherwise you have highly positive air pressure in the case, which isn't ideal for airflow (but does reduce dust coming in through gaps in case)I'm running 6 X 120mm in and 2 X 120mm out. Works well. I can recommend Demciflex case filters. Just order direct, cheap and easy enough and you can order in any colour you want. Great airflow and filter very fine dust particles.
