Its a 12A movies so I'm surprised at the young age of some of the kids being brought to it.
4 of us went and thought it was awful. Dull, cliché and childish would be my summation. Really couldn't stand Chris Pine in it, his character was terrible and his jokes flatter than a pancake and Michelle Rodriguez's acting/accent felt really jarring and out of place.
I always thought 12A suggest its suitable for anyone over the age of 12 and above. Unfortunately as we all know it also includes supervision of children at any age as long as they are accompanied by an adult. I do agree certain films its bewildering why parents would bring really young children/toddlers into a movie. I dont mind them as long as they keep quiet and to themselves but in some cases they often end up crying or causing some kind of commotion.
Saying that i watched The Pope's Exorcist couple of weekend ago and there a group of 8 lads which a few was high as a kite and most were drunk. They caused so much disruption with their phones, talking and outbursts throughout the movie that i have not seen in a long time. One of the cons unfortunately of going to the cinema.![]()
I went in with low expectations and came out really enjoying it! The key is to assume the worstThought this would be good but alas it wasn't.
