Wonder if we took max out of the race if it would be interesting, e.g is his dominance what made spa dull or was it the whole race and lack of any real dynamic action outside of DRS

There's still interest in the race with Max in it, just not where it should be.

That's pretty much what most of non-merc/ Lewis fans thought between 2014-2021, especially once Nico retired as Valteri wasn't able to push Lewis at all. Same could be said for early 2000s when Ferrari and Schumacher dominated and to lesser degree with 4 years of RB before the rules changed. If merc got the car right this year and Lewis kept winning I'd probably stop watching F1 just like I did in early 00s.

We're half way through the season and other than couple of races it's not been as easy for RB as the standings might suggest. Need Ferrari to sort their strategy and should be able to get closer again

The only way this one's going to be interesting is if there's rain or a mid-race mechanical failure for a front-runner. Zandvoort is a dreadful track for racing - even GT car races there are dull.

If they said anyone seen to be letting a flare off or holding one will be ejected from the circuit, and then actually following up on that they might change their mind.

I expect there will be quite the fog, but last year reached completely ridiculous levels.

It will be interesting to see what effect and how well the gravel/not gravel run off works this weekend. If successful could be a good option for a few more circuits.

Zandvoort is pretty bumpy so will be interesting to see who has the sacrifice ride height because of the bouncing.

I think so, but some cars were still bouncing pretty badly at Spa. Given that this track has more bumps, I can imagine that some will need to sacrifice more ride height.

Apparently they made gearbox repairs prior to the session. Guess they fluffed that up.

And Mick left the pit just as the red flag fell, now under investigation. Oops.
