They know they have the fastest car with the highest top speed. Not really a worry for themWorth noting Red Bull did give up the lead.

Pretty sure that was the original strategy. They'd be right behind Merc with new tyres and 20 laps. They know they have the fastest car with the highest top speed. Not really a worry for them
But he presumably felt the issue all the way back to the pits, even before they changed tyres (after already being told they were fine). Just feels odd that your driver is telling you something is definitely wrong/off and they carry on forward potentially risking more damage with very little to nothing to gain."Let" him back out? Because they thought the car was fine - why wouldn't they run the car - 2 laps down or now? Always useful data to collect
The commentary for this race has to be some of the worst I have heard in a long time.
Them talking such utter nonsense in order to build up the hype was embarrassing...really need Brundle in there.

Maybe introduce a rule whereby any pit under sc or vsc, has to wait 5s before the pit crew touch the car to make it fairer?

If this was the other way round and hammy benefited from the call would there be calls for a change in rules?
So the default heineken trophies, but painted white with some sharpie scrawls on them.
Meh...
They have so much advertising on the track and behind the drivers, I don't see why they need to ruin the trophy as well.Trophies are awful these days aren't they!
