Dying Light - PC next gen zombie open world game?

Yep around this evening and happy to run through some missions again - you seem to be relatively close to sector 0 anyway!

Yeah ok let's play again tonight, I can't be bothered to play dayZ. I'll be on about 9pm again is that alright ? Oh and is your headset working ?

do the different outfits you can wear effect your stats at all? apparently not, but what's the point of different outfits that are purely cosmetic in a first person game!?

So your coop buddies can comment on how fabulous you look in those dashing trousers.

I play it on pc my housemate plays it on ps4...

Its superior on the pc and he has decent TV but I have a decent pc and play at max settings with a film grain etc turned off.

Stand ontop of something really thin like a fence, they'll climb up and end up vaulting over, stick the boot in when they vault and eventually you'll grind them down, takes 6000 hours but it works

Yes, sussed that out last night. Also upgraded my baton with a fire buff and that works a treat.

The easiest way is to get the skill that instantly kills enemies knocked down. This skill also works on runners if you're on top of a vehicle, roof etc, 1 hit kill as soon as they climb up to where you are.

I haven't got that yet but will do so as soon as I can.

Also not experiencing the issues some are with the FR and stutter. Currently running it on a single 970 and with the exception of reducing draw distance to about a third, I've left all settings set to max and it flies.

Using that companion app as well to send myself craft mats. Never used one of these before and wasn't sure what to do. I was down to my last scout and $400 before I realised how to use it properly. Managed to nurse him through a few solo missions healing him each time and am now up to 10 scouts. It's a great app though and saves a lot of hassle for finding mats and med packs.

You are soon resource heavy tho so don't worry - have £60k cash, more weapons than I can sell / fit in inventory or storage now and thats with 72% of the mission complete and very little side tracking.

The instant you get to around level 10 on survivor you'll have enough skills etc to not go through weapons as quickly (the chance of a free repair skill works surprisingly well) etc.

Storyline progress doesn't really equal skills available. I'm level 17/18 in all skills and I've only just got to Sector 0. too much time messing about in coop with various people!

it's hard work  far too many Zombies everywhere, but it looks like i'm close to the finish.... when i've beat the game i'm going to relax and kill them all, but right now i'm running past them all........... if i can

my biggest complaint is the game is very bad for Vertigo, especially the giant radio tower, this should never be there and the game should warn you about this

I honestly can't tell if you're being serious here, if you are it's probably the single stupidest thing I've read from you.

this is not a game if you suffer from Vertigo, the developers need to mention this, because i brought the game not knowing just how bad it is. the roofs are ok etc, but the radio masts are dreadful, esp on a large tv, because the image sways around quite a lot, it gives you dreadful motion sickness and a feeling of sheer terror.........the climbing needs to be made much easier here.

they've copied this rubbish directly from FC 3, but made it far harder to climb..... that huge radio mast is the hardest thing i've ever seen in a game

It's a game where you climb great heights and towers/rooftops are involved. Why would they need to mention this when it's plain obvious from all the gameplay trailers/videos/screenshots etc?

You can see what the game play is like in almost every trailer and review, hell even some of the screenshots give away what type of game this is.
If you bought the game blindly without looking at any of these then you have no cause to complain and my previous statement of it being one of the stupidest things I've read from you stands.

Also if it's a fear of heights you have it's acrophobia (which I actually have and the game doesn't trigger me wanting to walk over the edge or have a panic attack) not vertigo and if it is vertigo you have I'm not sure why that's being triggered by you climbing a tall tower unless you're intentionally looking straight down which you may have to do once but after that why would you continue climbing the tower? Just avoid it.
