Dying Light - PC next gen zombie open world game?

Do you have the skill where you can run over zombies yet?

The place you need to get to and throw the switch is in a shack at the back of power station area. Best way to get there is vault over a zombie onto the transformers and then free run up high into the safe (fenced) area

Agree. I run around like a little girl screaming at night and was dreading that mission but killing is not the priority here.

I really am going to have to get better at night though, just got the skill where you can look behind you, as I spent the whole night hiding in the corner of a train wagon watching the movements of the predators on my small screen at the top right. At least I got bonus points for being undetected, lol.

got mine from cdkeys. Played 3 hours now and am enjoying it the first dark run was intense! tryed to be skillful about it but in the end just ran for my life. lol

Quite enjoying this now. I'm about 15% complete. The game looks lovely in eyefinity, all be it with some frame rate slowdowns (I'm too stubborn to turn down textures from high :D ).

I die quite regularly though, I think I probably suck. Tip: When you point a gun at bandits around an airdrop and they all raise their hands in surrender, they still attack you as soon as you lower the weapon! :(

What I tend to do is....

Just throw a well aimed Molotov at them and thus attract no zombies etc, it does tend to turn all three at once into toasty critters. Sometimes, as they are burning, I whack them a couple of times, not sure if that is needed (I have seen the odd one survive being baked) but it makes me feel good - lol

Yes I'll try that next time. Discovered doing something similar at an objective area that is swarmed. Jump on top of something, wait for them all to shamble over, Molotov the crowd. Win.

Molotov is your friend and the best silent AoE weapon I use.

Forget bullets as they just bring hoards of virals - and you don't want that...

Use the companion app to have scouts collecting materials and you'll find the going becomes a bit easier :)

I got this game on Friday and with friends its great, its good solo also but they definitely got the dynamics of group play right.

I find if you get the angle right you can fly in with two feet and knock the entire gang over, then go to town before they can get back up.

I used to Molotov everything as I liked being quite cautious early on, but now I've got a red crowbar and I think something snapped, all the pent up aggression waiting for episode/HL3 is coming out...

Sooner it breaks permanently the better, all the zombies are starting to look like Gabe Newell :D

I have only tried solo so far and its brilliant.

Just got myself to sector 0. Made some amount of money with the combination of the pit and the tunnels afterwards by selling all the guns.

Sector 0 looks epic for running around in so far.

Only issue in having is my wireless keyboard and mouse continue to disconnect and reconnect while playing. Will need to get the usb ones out to test tomorrow and if needs be, fire in the 360 controller. :)
