It's not scarey, it's similar to Dead Island with Parkor. It's running OK on my 290p, I'd imaging it'd be better on your 290x!
Tips:
Don't take on a horde, look for elevation points where you can have an advantage to take out zombies. Top of vans are great for killing multiple zombies if you crouch!
^^ this or even on cars wait for them to climb on to the bonnet them kill them or just kick them off another one is inside of buses only one way in for them so its easy pickings if they get abit much just jump out hole at the top
Gamepad all day long for me withis game. Plays really well, as you'd expect seeing as it was probably the primary controller.
I use a game pad, find its a sit back and relax on big screen game.
Stuck with a side mission that seems to be in a loop. The Prodigal Son. I've been asked to speak to Ayo but I cannot use the elevators in the building due to trouble on the 18th floor. I can't talk to Ayo as a result. The stairs are boarded off, and I can't climb up the outside, so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to finish this side quest.
Just bought this, £23 inc 3 DLCs. Enjoyed Contagion so hoping for more of the same.
Up to level 8 now and having a scream with this. Got to learn to use look behind soon, instead of running for my life from those night creatures.
Where was that from?
Bought this earlier and wasn't expecting much, regardless of how big this thread is due to being burned by dead island and dead island riptide. Seems this game has the best elements of those games but with a upto date spin on it. The graphics are really nice, the sound effects are creepy, especially at night. The music also reminds me of the original dawn of the dead film, which is a nice touch.
Just unlocked the co-op so not very far in, but thats enough for this evening.
Firecrackers are the business when it comes to volatiles at night Keeps them occupied.
Just completed this game!! Very good ending IMO.
