Dying Light - PC next gen zombie open world game?

Dying Light does not use steam cloud for save games. Look in the steam folder and scroll down to userdata, look for a folder with the numbers [239410], if you don't save this you will have to start everything from the beginning again.

It does, had to disable it as it was causing game save irruption between *nix and windows

got this lat night about 10 hours solid on it so far lol :p

just dont the school.

any tips for surviving at night? my tactic of running and screaming like a girl dropping uv flares behind me doesnt seem to be the best :p

oh and any good sources of ammo? i managed to get a police rifle som some random dude who started shooting me, but only got about a mag and a half of ammo.

You can buy ammo at the trade guys, I'd suggest avoiding using guns at night all they do is draw attention to yourself, use flares when volatiles get close to give yourself breathing space but use firecrackers/explosions to draw attention away from you.

just had a go of this after a while not playing it ran it on my 32" tv instead of my monitor as i just wanted tos it back and enjoy the game for some reason it looks better on my TV than on my monitor lol, only 25% into the game aswel

Just started playing this. Suprised how well it runs actually. All settings maxed at 1920x1200.

However about 40 mins in to the game I got a blue screen IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL crash.

Now is this the game or my PC?

I have my 3570k oc'ed to 4.5Ghz. It can pass 8hrs prime blend and has been running and playing games more than happily since Dec 2014.

What you reckon?

Most of the evidence I gather form the Web points at it being an Nvidia driver issue.

This game is pretty rock solid, Have you tried running Intel Burn Test on high?

There are many elements very similar to Far Cry 3. Did you play it?... Apart from looking very similar, the whole fabric of the game screams far cry 3...the resource gathering, climbing towers, herbs, spawn points at the nearest tower(as well as the playing the last message whenever you load the game), clearing outposts. Even most of the looting and climbing animations are very similar... I just did the slide you do when running and I could have sworn I was back playing fc3!

I'm just waiting for the trippy hallucination sequence where you have to walk slowly along a path... I'm sure it's coming:p... Oh, and I just met the cheap knock-off Vaas wannabee.

hehe there is a trippy sequence later on :) still a good game though im enjoying a lot more than FC3
