Not worth it being a n.a. Anything you may feel will be a placebo IMO. I believe that guy who had a mustard yellow 330 had his done who may say overwise

I bought a remapped 330ci from Merlin on these forums which felt very pokey for a 330. I do not have very good basis for comparison as it was a manual (my other bmw's have been auto's) but i am sure he will be along in a bit to say how it felt before/after.
It made this power at PS, on the same rollers that others have made near enough stock power, so it certainly looked to be up;
I have just looked and they claim 275BHP for the Focus ST compared to dreamscience who up until recently only developed chips for the Focus and make 270BHP. So maybe worth taking their claims with a pinch of salt?

Same rollers on the same day as others made almost bang on stock power.....as i say it certainly felt pokey for a 330. I do not have a good basis for comparison though at all.
I expect the temperature difference is a significant factor. It isn't been corrected for accurately. Don't all the cars that ever run at PS make much better figures in the colder runs?
A quick, mini thread hijack... Speaking purely theoretical, would throwing a couple of turbos onto my 2.5 (a) work? (b) last? (c) be worth it? (d) cost much to maintain? (e) anything else?

Not much point given that there is a standard 340bhp version of the e46 available which you can easily buy with a nice clean FSH, service normally, and then sell on later with ease.
