Anyone got any experience or recommendations for remapping a 330? Looking for a reputable firm to carry out remap.
Cheers.

			Cheers.

Not worth it being a n.a.

Not worth it being a n.a. Anything you may feel will be a placebo IMO. I believe that guy who had a mustard yellow 330 had his done who may say overwise![]()

I bought a remapped 330ci from Merlin on these forums which felt very pokey for a 330. I do not have very good basis for comparison as it was a manual (my other bmw's have been auto's) but i am sure he will be along in a bit to say how it felt before/after.
It made this power at PS, on the same rollers that others have made near enough stock power, so it certainly looked to be up;

Nearly 20bhp on stock??? No ***** Way
I maybe proven wrong though!
Be interested in what they exactly change as I suspect that the new chip will only run on higher ron 'Super' fuels?
A quick, mini thread hijack... Speaking purely theoretical, would throwing a couple of turbos onto my 2.5 (a) work? (b) last? (c) be worth it? (d) cost much to maintain? (e) anything else?

Not much point given that there is a standard 340bhp version of the e46 available which you can easily buy with a nice clean FSH, service normally, and then sell on later with ease.
