E6600 Now shipping!

Hi folks, i'm new here, I put an order in for an e6600 this morning and the shipping confirmation came 3 minutes afterwards lol.

Gibbo is right about what he said, there must be plenty spare if I can get a shipping confirmation that quickly!

Broke down and placed an order yesterday afternoon, no shipping email yet though. /crosses fingers

You folks gotta be patient. We got something like 1500 orders to ship out the door today please and practically all orders will ship.

Please don't be calling sales as they can't give you information and you will just tie up our phone lines.

Let us do our jobs and that way practically all of you will have your new toys tomorrow. :)
 
Hmm, that does sound strange, someone who had a pre-order didnt get a shipping confirmation, but I did.

That's a bit random, but I don't care, i've got mine :p ;)

I've ordered a Gigabit DS3 for my conroe but I've also ordered Gskill PC2-6400 HZ and now I'm hearing there's compatability issues :(

Will there be a problem?

Though i am a little surprised that a new order gets shipping conf before a preorder.

It's probably too late to change my order now anyway but I'll be sooo disappointed if after all this waiting I've gotta change my motherboard again.

If it didn't work, you would be in the same position as I am in now. I have the choice of taking my motherboard out AGAIN or buying some new memory. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Intel won't touch you if you've got an OEM CPU.
The 1yr warranty is with the retailer.
They cannot refuse to replace/get replaced an OEM CPU just because you didn't order your HSF from them at the same time.

Basically the boxed CPU's come with a 3yr warranty directly with Intel.
An OEM CPU comes with a 1yr retailer warranty.

I don't think I've been more annoyed, I've been waiting for this rig for 4 months now, only to see it power on....power off.....power on.....power off. Looks like overclockers will see me yet again this afternoon.

Same situation as you.
I ordered 5 minutes after Gibbo said he'd have enough in this week for some to be in "free stock".
I was honestly expecting mine to arrive on Monday - however if people placing orders this morning are getting shipping notifications immediately then there is no reason at all why we shouldn't see something tomorrow too :)

My mutated motherboard with AGP, PCI-Express, DDR1 and DDR2 is sitting beside me .....

Can people please stop talking about overclocking. I have overclocked every single cpu I have owned and I thought this time I will go straight and have a nice cpu on stock speeds.... but I am now having second thoughts :(
 
Make sure you people are checking the order tracker, my confirmation email didn't come till an hour after that had changed. customer.overclockers.co.uk
