1. Is it too late to order now (The E6700 OEM)? Can still get one from the batch on Monday?

2. With the method of postage used how long till it gets to me - in Australia?

Why? I am trying to source a CPU just like most of you in this thread. Since Gibbo posts info here and email to sales has gone answered, and OEM release is so close why cant I ask in here?

Because it's a discussion board and not a sales order desk. You really are better off contacting the sales department again for a swifter response.

Just managed to source a load of E6700's OEM, so anybody wanting to change orders or who wants an E6700 get ordering now.

Stock arrives with us tomorrow as long as couriers don't mess up so orders will ship Friday for delivery Monday unless Saturday delivery is choosen.

I really cant see the problem here and I also cant understand why some people are behaving like they are.

Anyway it's changed to green now - in stock, so if you order now you'll get one no bother, cant comment on how long it'll taketo get to you though.

I was helping. Gibbo is a purchasing manager, not only sourcing Conroes we all wish to buy but all other products in the store so answering individual sales enquiries isn't in his job description and not very productive. If Gibbo wastes time answering your questions then he's not spending his time sourcing stock is he?

It's from previous experience in these forums that I recommended you contact sales rather than post here but fire away, I'm sure Gibbo will be along shortly to tend to you.

p.s. I'm also waiting for stock, an E6600 and am as impatient as everyone else here. I want it NOW.

Our cost price is the same as Retail thats why, distributors know how much demand there is for them so are basically ripping all us Etailors off.

All of my components are still in my conroe order, I couldn't have all of the instock items shipped because it would have lost my priority in the conroe queue!

So when the day comes that the E6600 arrives at OCuk I have to hope that all of my other items are also in stock.

Crossing my fingers for some sourced E6600

I only need the OEM so I don't mind which comes out first unless OEM is cheaper, but I doubt it.

Well folks I can't believe this!!

I just spoke to our distributors who have just informed me that due to their warehouse been busy they won't be able to ship the product out tonight.

I really don't understand, these are one of the largest European disties who knew exactly what was happening this week and have not even brought in extra staff to try and cope with demand.

So after lots of shouting the best they can do is to get the shipment with us for Monday morning, they can't even manage a same day due to there been piles of other product in front of this to book in.

Intel's launched has been ruined, firstly by themselves and now by their distributors. Absolute shambles......

So, you got it conformed by the distie then...it lands today folks!
