No BF3 on PC? Looks like I'll be buying a boxed PC game for the first time since Starcraft 2.
God damn.
God damn.
So far Origin is having a negative effect on me.
When I launch ME2 or DA2 via Origin the Steam launcher starts the game and i'm basically in steam not Origin. WTF is the point of that!!!

Did it pick up on games you had previously installed on Steam when you registered them to your account?
It picked up my ME2 install but still asked me for a disk when I went to launch it, I can only presume I'll have to download it through Origin for it to work properly.
maybe no more steam updates could be why
I just find it annoying, I like all my stuff to be done through one medium. Its why I dont have Chrome, Firefox and Opera all installed at once, or MS Office, Open Office and Lotus all installed. I just prefer things to be streamlined. Dont like clutter, even if its virtual clutter![]()
Ack forgot about ME3, if its not on steam I won't be buying it and I'll definitely be missing that one
Just wait til you need different clients for valve, EA, Activision, Codemasters, Microsoft, etc. etc. and they all want to start with your PC and need to be running to play the different games...
but I only play one game at a time so only one of the clients needs to be open.
It seems the crux of the problem is from the bigotry towards all things EA do, each to their own I say!
I think its good for steam to have competition, but this wont be any competition at all. It will probably be the same as GFWL, bad and worthless and an annoyance.
Nothing changes except making things that little more awkward for THE PAYING CUSTOMER.
Posted below is EA's statement sent to IGN:
It's unfortunate that Steam has removed Crysis 2 from their service. This was not an EA decision or the result of any action by EA.
Steam has imposed a set of business terms for developers hoping to sell content on that service – many of which are not imposed by other online game services. Unfortunately, Crytek has an agreement with another download service which violates the new rules from Steam and resulted in its expulsion of Crysis 2 from Steam.
Crysis 2 continues to be available on several other download services including Origin.com.
IGN has contacted Valve for comment.
