Earliest age for a child to start kickboxing.

I believe most clubs in the UK have a minimum age of 6. I guess its up to if you think your kid is ready and willing to train.
When I trained at Fairtex and Sityodtong (the original Sityodtong, not the americanised training camp) in Thailand, the youngest I saw was a 4 year old, but they start seriously training from 5.
A lot of people say the younger the better as their body is still growing and can adapt to the training. Physically I agree but mentally I am not so sure.

I wish I'd done kickboxing or something when I was young... although I might have hated it back then

Imo put them in as young as the class will take them. See if your kids love it or hate it, and go from there

I know it's for their own good, but dunno if there's much point pushing them if they really hate it
