Easyriders Cinema Room

I should have the more pic's this weekend.

I'm waiting on my mate to mount the rear speakers as I have no strength in my right hand. :(

He's doing them Saturday.:)

Can't believe so close to finishing and I screw my hand up causing more delays:mad:

That projector looks fantastic VFM, I'm looking to replace my panasonic LCD projector soon but had noticed 'the rainbow effect' on all DLP projectors when I was doing my viewings about 5 years ago - is that something youve noticed on dlp projectors yourself / with this model?

can't wait for the saturday update

sorry to hear about your hand, at least you will be able to heal in the comfort of your sweet home cinema :)

Good stuff easyrider, I'm loving that projector and now really considering one for when we change our lounge later in the year. Your thread has given me a lot of ideas. Glad to see the screen is better located than the one in your car. ;)

:D

Glad you like it mate;)

(Not a Vent in sight);):p

Here's a teaser of the screen doing its thing!

Coming along nicely although see NOW what i meant a while back about the whole room lighting up with the PJ.

Personal choice but i would have went with a darker paint, ceiling is really bouncing off the light.

Im considering selling my Panny AE2000E 1080p model soon.
On the bay they seem to fetch about £1100-£1300 but if your looking a good model the AE2000E is fantastic.

I'm ***ing 8k up the wall next week instead of saving for my first car with my girlfriends permission of course;) on a 7.1 home cinema and that picture has just made me reconsider a Pioneer PDP-LX6090 for an Infocus IN83.

Ask most and id say they would agree with getting the 50" Pioneer and spend the extra £2000 on a projector. Models like the new AE3000 are worth demoing and its got a lot more features even over models costing twice as much. Trust me once you go with good quality projection that 60" tv is nothing. At the same time having only a PJ isnt a good thing neither and if id be in the market now for both personally id be going for a Pioneer 50" with the AE3000, thats half your budget really well spent.

I play my games 5 feet from an 80" screen in a 7.1 setup and yeah you WILL love summit similar.
Killzone 2 is awesome and im certain its going to blow away easyrider once he gives it all ago as PJ gaming really brings a lot of fun imo.

Anyone here use a projector for everyday use instead of a TV?

I'm seriously considering selling my 32" LCD and getting myself an Infocus X9, giving myself a 76" picture on the wall.
