Ebay help?

That's all well and good but eBay won't look at it, they'll just hit the BUYER WINS button and then ignore you, because they see more value in keeping buyers happy.

This unfortunately 9 times out of 10

Ebay are a joke when it comes to siding with the seller, hence why the systems abused so much.

Well, regardless, there's no issue with the phone so I've emailed ebay describing what the buyer wants, his "supposed issues" and the fact he left me good feedback. I've jumped through hoops with this buyer. I won't be accepting returns which I may add the original listing stated! I also willingly won't be refunding anymore money.

Good man. Just so you are aware the no returns accepted wont help as the buyer is claiming the item is defective, the no returns will only cover you if the buyer doesn't want the item, ordered wrong size t-shirt or similar. Unless the phone was listed as spare or repairs I don't think it will help in this scenario I'm afraid.

Not accepting returns doesn't include faulty or not as described items etc. It just means that you don't accept people changing their minds or trying before buying, that sort of stuff. If he raises a dispute and eBay award it to him, you will be accepting the return whether you like it or not in all likelihood :p

As I have said before, what good does taking serial numbers do? How do you prove that was the item you sent, you could be trying to scam them.

The same way companies refuse RMA's/Returns when stickers appear "tampered" with. I assume by taking photos of the serial number stickers you can see what it originally looked like, how it was placed etc, if the sticker is damaged or appears tampered with then surely thats an immediate tell tale sign of something dodgee

Indeed.. :/ I really don't need this hassle. And nor do I need the phone. I might just say keep the damn thing, and refund the rest of the money. I don't need this hanging over my head tbh..

More often than not the guys just changed his mind and not trying to scam. Instead of just refunding him and telling him to keep the phone, which is just silly, just get him to return and refund.

To be fair the idiot should not have bought it if he wasn't 100% sure he wanted it. Why should the OP pay for 2 lots of postage so this guy can try a phone out for a couple of weeks then return it?

That's basically what looks like has happened.. bought it, tried it, doesn't want it/seen something else. Last time I use ebay for selling. Cheers chaps..

Why have you refunded him ANY money rather than some. how much have you refunded already?

Sorry but either way your a bloody fool if you have or do send him any money.

The back cover didn't fit properly on the back when a USB cable was inserted. Which I didn't know until he complained.

I've never done the before. Selling on ebay lark.

I've told him the GPS can be location dependant. I.e it won't work properly inside etc. Also if he's picked up a virus somehow, try a full system reset. There's no fault with the phone.

Well I definitely wouldn't pay his return cost if you are going to let him return it, if he wants to send it back then it's at his expense not yours.

I haven't said anything to him. Other than the GPS works. And if he picked up a virus try restoring. The phone isn't faulty. Cheers.

:) can't do much more
