What I am trying to say is that it goes both ways, as the seller how can you prove to eBay that you item you sold was the the item you actually sent?

If you haven't already, withdraw the money from your Paypal account and unlink your cards/bank account (if they let you). Otherwise you WILL be refunding him, whether you want to or no.

If Ebay force you to return & refund. When it arrives, make sure it's the one you sent. If not have the IMEI blacklisted. If it wasn't bought through an operator then a quick trip to the local plod, quick explanation of the situation and they'll do it.

He says he's been travelling with it and can't get a proper lock on the GPS position. Also, that the trojan virus was put on there already by Ecoo, the phone maker.

Ecoo is owned by elephone. There are no viruses on their phones AFAIK.

Also. Why did he not research this stuff prior to buying the phone? I'm digging my heels in. Not fair that I've effectively "lent" him a brand new phone for a few weeks only to be returned.

Virus? Assuming this is an Android device, very unlikely unless they have been installing foreign apps all the time. (I used to, and never had an issue!!)

Have you got a serial number copy? He left good feedback, he can't just say he doesn't want it anymore! :mad:

Well anyway if it was put there by the manufacturer then it can hardly be a virus can it?
