I think it does depend on what your selling, any current gen console/flagship phone is going to be a scammer paradise. You might as well trade it into game or cex.

When it arrives from my Hermes, test it. If it works, the refund the buyer. If it doesn't, refund the buyer and lodge a claim for damage in transit with whoever you posted it with.

You'll get the fees refunded in both instances.

I can bet you 3333333 that they did NOT pay the £8 insurance fee to cover the value of the playstation.

Also parcel2go tracking number doesn't register with eBay as a track able parcel.
 
just a thought, if theyve redeemed the witcher key to their PSN account how does that affect the refund?

I'm not sure how PSN works but if its the same as steam and theyve pulled a fast one and used the key themselves then can you not use this in your refund case?????

Genuine query as that would be tough surely, getting a working PS4 back but technically no game and then trying to sort a partial refund
 
hope Myhermes leave it in a bush, don't answer the door. then claim it never arrived :D no proof of delivery no refund huehuehue.
 
Don't mind sending items worth less than £20 with MyHermes but a PS4 ouch.

Also OP open up the parcel and check the contents before signing anything, that way you can refuse delivery and have the courier driver as witness if it is not what you are expecting.
 
I recieved the package today. Opened it now. It actually seems to be the one I sent although I do not see the bump she mentioned.
Will test it in a bit.
 
Buyers gf fell out with him for buying the ps4 without telling/asking her, made him make an excuse to send it back for a refund.......?

Hope it works for you OP, at least you wont be out of pocket too much.

Okay, plugged in the ps4.
I clicked the power button, the blue light turns on for one second and then it just shuts off...
