Eddie Van Halen dead at 65

First I heard VH was on this skate video (40:40 mins in) about the same time I started playing guitar.

Feels kinda surreal that he's gone.

Only know him from Guitar Hero.. actually makes me want to play the game again after seeing his name after so many years.

The story around that is he was asked to do a solo, he turned up with his guitar and amp, listened to what he was playing over and that was the first take and he went home.

And was paid a six pack of beer for his contribution.
