Yes, I've done that. It's a lot quicker now than it used to be, with having to download the language packs and manually install them. I see the old chestnut of having to a) log off and then b) reboot to get everything in place is still there though. You can change that in regional settings in the control panel.
I appreciate the offer but no thanks. I've had enough of this now and I won't be rebuilding it again. If you want a Professional only en-gb version of Windows 10 1909, build 18363.592, I will happily upload it if you can recommend somewhere. It's official and what I would use, I've just extracted the Professional edition from 18363.592.200109-2016.19h2_release_svc_refresh_CLIENTBUSINESS_VOL_x64FRE_en-gb.esd.
I know but as soon as I realised I was running a very old version of Windows 10, I had to fix it. The PC is connected to the internet, I wouldn't want to leave it vulnerable. You could have created a batch file on the desktop you know.![]()
If I hadn't been able to sort it today, I would probably have chucked the stupid PC in a skip and driven down to Lakeside to buy a Mac mini. That's how fed up I was with it.If only you had a mac feek you could have restored it via COMMAND + R in 30-50 mins flat.![]()
