That's it Crofty, get over excited about Max being provisional pole with 8 minutes left when they've clearly all just dumped in a banker lap

Interesting qualifying.

Great effort by Hulk imo. Ferrari have found a bit of pace. Good laps from the top three. Albon looked decent until you check the times and see he's still 0.4 off Max. Vettel's showing is poor if it's true he and Leclerc have identical cars for this weekend.

Why is there such a disparity between Charles and Sebastian?? Ferrari have stated both have the same car and the same floor.

Can we call a spade a spade and give an honest answer about Sebastian or do we just keep giving this guy the benefit of the doubt.

Vettel has lost it, completely, but Leclerc's also an absolute top tier talent. Give him a year or two to mature and a decent car and he's a Max/Hamilton level driver.

I really don't understand why RP want Vettel. He's been dismal. Perhaps he can get his mojo back when he's away from Ferrari.

If you know you are leaving a team that does not want you, why push hard for them?

Because you're a professional, and a competitive sportsman?

He was bad last year too. Actually the last few years. Ferrari didn't ditch him for nothing.

And he has not been happy there for years, so again, why work hard when you are not appreciated.

Zero point in taking any risks whatsoever for a team that does not have your back.

And as any team who brings in new younger up and coming talent, definitely does not have the back of their number one driver, again why bother doing anything to help them, when they don't help you.

But surely you still want to put out a good impression of yourself to other teams? (I don't know how he got the RP job if this was the case though... Haha!) Although i know what you mean, having a management/boss that doesn't appreciate you can be really really demotivating.

Who says he's not pushing hard? people need to stop making excuses for him, last year it was that he was fed up with F1 but that went out of the window when he signed for another team.

Vettel is probably the highest paid driver on the grid aside from maybe Hamilton why would he intentionally want to be seen as the guy who got outperformed by a rookie? it's putting his entire career and world titles into doubt. He'll never be remembered as a great because of seasons like this year and the one he got beat by Ricciardo.
