They've definitely fixed the speed of the ashes appearing in the fight, they are almost instant now which is great. No way I want to go back in and try it solo any time soon. although the ash was more bait than doing much damage. The Lord's Divine Fortification definitely came in clutch for the massive holy damage negation.

A 3 player co-op live service game with set characters. Not so sure on this one, seems like quite the departure from FromSoftwares usual game type, but loved Elden Ring and the expansion so will keep an eye on it.

Yeah I'm not happy - this doesn't feel like something Miyazaki would want to make, it something the investors want because they want to monetise the Elden ring brand. I think there will be more Elden ring spin offs like this, the investors are milking it now into the ground

Well thats a bit annoying, its been confirmed that you can only play as solo or as a trio, you cannot play with just 2 players. Only 1 or 3.

My kids bought me this one - just the base game. Enjoying it so far, and I like the fact that when I get a kicking from a monster, the open world allows you to go off and do some things, then come and try again. Still can't take down that tree sentinal though.

Finally gone back to retry the DLC final boss and finally beaten him....had to turtle up and poke, but it still counts no matter how dirty it felt . That is one tough, tough fight.

Got the Tree Sentinal finally, and also got through the castle - have enough levels, and also joined another player for both the big battles. On the first, the player with me died right at the end but I killed the boss. Do they have to do it all again?

Nah, it sounds like they've joined you so will have done the boss already but are offering their summons to help other players out!
