This is all a bit confusing and overcrowded. It keeps stuttering and pausing lots too....

Tbh I have no real idea what is going on at the moment...

How many players does this have at anyone time on a server? What's people's early impressions?

The bit I was just on had what seemed hundreds of players. It made it a bit hard to know what was going on. It's also suffering from bad pausing and stuttering.

I have not really played enough to know if it's any good but the first few quests I did outside the intro bit were both fetch quests.

Coming from the Witcher it looks like a PS2 game in comparison... :-)

Just a heads up... you can get some good armour and weapons before you leave the starting zone, I levelled to 3 and had a decent set of armour and a good shield and sword, staffs drop as well.

Graphics cannot compare to Witcher 3 because they've been designed to accommodate 100s of players at once in any given area... the player models are hit and miss, some races are better looking then others, I like the redguard race. This being said, the buildings look this gen, or very good last gen, but some graphic elements do look dated, the water springs to mind.

There is lag as it's just released, but this will get sorted I'm sure.

Really enjoying it... quest markers are confusing at first but you do get used to them.

8/10 so far.

I'm enjoying it but finding it all a bit confusing. The pausing is annoying and the quest markers still confuse me so I just set my own waypoints.

I'm not sure I will play it long term but will see how it goes for now.

They're working on the pausing mate, I've just logged off so hopefully it will improve later today.

Well i'm not impressed so far, i enjoyed witcher 3 way more, i'll give it a bit more time, good job they took off pay to play, or no one be playing it.

I don't think you can compare, they are different games. I think that's more to do with personal preference. Personality I would find a single player game like witches boring. I much prefer social games. For a graphics hit I would take coop over single player every time.

My copy got redirected so I can't try out yet but my mates are enjoying it.

Rolled an Orc Soc (Heavy Armour DPS) in DC just to try it around earlier this morning.

There's quite a few people on there and game chat is on by default from the sound of things. I was following a dude who was speaking to himself the whole time he was levelling up, oh the choices... hahaha.

Just a heads up incase people decide to shout at spouse/siblings/TV when there's other players within 3m of you.

Still trying to find out why the explorer pack isn't working. Anyone got that issue, e.g. choosing a race outside of their alliance choice?

Aye, I tried it and double checked the DLC was definitely on.

I am home around half 5 to try again, I can always install the DLC and reinstall to try. My missus will try hers on the spare xbox.

edit: Twitter have a couple of people in the same situation as missus and I, sharing game via Home Xbox setup. The DLC might be locked to purchaser only, will update when we check it after work.
