Elder Scrolls Online

AH man - I opened up all the treasure maps you get and now my inventory is full!! I'd advise anyone to leave them alone, or just open 1 at a time until you find the treasure.

I have no idea where any of them are from my starting point in ebonheart so I'm basically playing with 50% inventory for a while now...that's going to be annoying.

I suppose I could just write them all down, then just look at the map online (but not sure if deleting them from inventory will stop me getting the treasure...)

Damn

If you delete the map from your inventory then you won't be able to get the treasure as the dirt pile that marks the spot won't be there.

DO NOT DELETE TREASURE MAPS!
They are a one off, you can bank them all, takes up space in bank unfortunately, and you need the map in your inventory for you to dig it up.

Also, pro-tip for those who haven't read up, DO NOT OPEN TREASURE MAPS, till you're within the region. Bank them all and draw them out when you're exploring the region.

Also, turn on auto-loot, but not for stolen goods, makes looting so much quicker and just look on bottom left to see what you've picked up rather than pressing more buttons.

Yes, you'll fill up quick, but you're never far from a merchant or bank :)

Cheers for clearing that up - I suspected it to be the case.
Shame there was no real indication that opening up each of the 4 maps would stick about 30 in my inventory!! lol.

I just clicked them all quickly and before I knew it they were all there.

buuuuuuuut....I did NOT know there was a bank. That will help!
Wiki says there is one in stonefall and bleakrock so must have missed both! *facepalm*

I'll just stick em all in there until I get to some of the locations then start working my way through them.

Anyone know if any are easily reachable from Stonefalls area so i can get rid of a few?

I have no experience of the elder scrolls world so no idea on places and locations!
Guess I'll google for a map to bookmark to give me an idea until I discover more of the map in-game

They have gimped the preorder codes to only account owner has it, not shared with anyone else on the Home Xbox. My missus account worked, just not mine.

While multiple players can use the same copy of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on the same console, the Imperial Edition and Explorer's Pack perks apply to individual player accounts rather than to the console itself. Players will need to redeem unique Imperial Edition and Explorer's Pack codes on their PlayStation Network or Xbox Live Gold accounts in order to receive the perks.

Just for clarity.

Easiest point to find a bank map in Stonefall is to go to a "Outlaw Refuge", there's always a banker in there, along with fence if you want to sell/launder stolen goods.

It's a "Scout" flower logo looking thing on maps.

Otherwise, there are proper banks but I can't remember where they are exactly. Using maps, if you scroll over different logos, they should show what's there, if there's a 'scale' logo, there are multiple stores and NPC merchants, including Bankers there.

Sorry, should have clarified - I meant nearest treasure locations I could get to from where I am. They say which areas they are in but I have no idea where those areas are in relation to my location.
I'll try to find a detailed region map so see if I can get to any now, or if I just have to wait it out

But thanks, I'll look for a bank later and free up some slots. Wiki says it's in Davons Watch but thought i'd talked to everyone there - guess not.

So this doesn't have a monthly sub any more?

Not any more since they updated back in April?

Consoles do not need subs, it's a B2P game now (Buy to Play), nothing apart from vanity gear require payment in real money, everything else can be earned (with some grinding). Horse can be bought with gold but crown is quicker if you're impatient.

No gears can be purchased with real money though, so no rich high level numpties.

The sub is only for earning extra crowns, higher rate of experience gain and future DLC release.

Well that's good to hear, I'd discounted it ages ago. But popped my head in here anyway and now my intresest is back.

Anyone had a pet attack an innocent without you telling it to? Was walking through a village and pet went a little crazy and killed someone, have a small bounty now - at least until it wears off.

Have you got "Attack Innocent" turned off? (Look under Options)

That should make it safer unless you're role playing a psycho killer with some amazing legs for running away from guards.

Thanks for the update. Quite poor though

I'm a nord dragonknight ebonheart pact - Did a chose a good character?

Not really sure what a dragonknight is I wanted melee DPS and this looked to be the closest

Almost every class can DPS or Tank, it's all down to what you start levelling and focusing via skills.

A sorcerer class can Tank by buffing self and wear heavy armour, bumping his health on every level, wielding a sword and shield, whilst a Templar can wear light armour and focus on dual wielding short sword with everything focused on stamina for strings of high damage mashing.

Plenty of guides from the PC version is available to read for serious power leveller, but what's the fun in that when the Elder Scrolls is all about being able to play differently to the conventional Wizard, Fighter, Rogue outfit.

That said, yes, your Nord, DK can do some serious melee DPS.

We have some serious number of players going to Ebonheart Pact, which is a yay for future alliance matching for OcUK :D

Decided to get the PS4 Imperial copy(digital) as most of my mates will be playing it on there... well first off. The xbox one copy I got with the explorers edition(33.65), apart from the graphically poor horse(imperial), has much better extras, the pet is even better. I can pick any race too, I can't with the imperial version.

The biggest difference I have noticed is that the xbox one has more vibrant colours, the graphics generally look better, will see if the reviews pick that up.

Back to the xbox one(70 out of pocket, idiot i am) and i'll just join a guild eventually.

No flaming please!

Had a fair few "invisible NPCs" happened to me this morning, can't complete a quest.
Along with a couple of "I'm stuck and invisible" glitch where you can't move or see yourself.

First was fixed by logging out and back in.
The second need the game restarting.

Game wise, I find myself much like Oblivion/Skyrim, spending probably 50% of the time blooming harvesting materials and crafting.

I might just make another character to be a full time professional crafter of some kind! With the writ board/bounty, I can see that becoming a viable build, playing as support for a guild, whilst exploring for materials taking secondary role and actual fighting taking a back seat.

I spent far too long fishing last night instead of questing.
Is there an Xbox Guild running yet? Game is a little flat running around on my own.
My main (level 6) if I can call it a main yet, is a Dunmer nightblade.
