Yep gotta agree. However, they are moving in the right direction with actively enforcing track limits.

There is no detriment to going wide, so they will at every opportunity.

Put some large concrete walls, a bit like Monaco, or Singapore, or Baku and no one will cross the white lines.

But the going wide across track limits is good and gains time, that's why the time is deleted.

Staying between the white lines on every corner is the slow way around the track, all be it, the correct and lawfull way to drive round
