Deleting a lap time for making a mistake that costs time anyway feels like a double penalty, I guess.

I dont see the issue, you screw up you take the hit. It would be the same rule for everyone, consistent and fair. Track limits are track limits, precision and skill will be rewarded.

I didn't say deliberately. I think the reason they don't enforce consistently on every corner is because they don't want to double penalise people who have made a mistake and lost time. This enforced on turn 9, 13, and 15 is because that's where they are deliberately going wide to gain time otherwise.

He is continually impressing, I'd like to see him replace Bottas for 22, he deserves the chance, he's proven his worth continually, putting that williams where it probably shouldnt be.

Has to be in the car for 2022, Hamiltons not gonna go on forever and they need a succession plan. Bottas doesn't have the x factor to be the team number 1.

I agree, he’s not been as good as expected, although ricciardo is pretty darn good.
