Empty quoting on forums: Do you find it annoying?

I find it irritating when people quote the post directly above their own, unless it is a particularly long and wide-ranging one with a specific portion quoted.

It is useful though in a fast thread/your taking a while to type as often there's a post before yours is submited then yours doesn't make sense and you have to edit or explain etc.

What irritates me is when someone quotes the ENTIRE body of text when they're one of the first posters, or includes huge images in their quotes.

And then the next person to post will also quote the original post with huge images etc.

Doesn't bother me at all. I think it is rather petty to be bothered by something that is done for a reason like that.
