Ender 5 Pro Upgrade Thread.

so, new post rails and new cooling ducts here's my resonances -

not sure why mines an order of magnitude more? or am I reading it wrong?
though the acceleration is WAY higher?

yeah I'm not sure what's causing that. going to give it another test tomorrow and see what comes back. I think it could be where it's mounted that's causing the issue.

watching my printer I think that if I went dual Z then I could potentially go slightly bigger build plate?
but then if I was spending out on dual Z I would be thinking about the hydra setup as well.
i ordered some tensioners from ali express for my printer...
stil thinking if i should go with linear rails.. but i think dual z axis first

really all this upgrading has made me think that I should really pickup a ender 5 plus. the modifications would just carry over without much issue.

had some fun over the weekend, belt broke! turns out my mix of upgrades had caused it to ride up on the stepper, so I've replaced the rail connections for proper endorphin3d ones. much better now.

yeah, it's because I was trying to half arse it. I'm still thinking that at some point I'll want to go full COREXY.
currently I'm looking at the x gantry, the rail that endorphin3D says is 9mm rather than 12 as it's lighter but that doesn't fit well on the 2020 extrusion.

need another rail and some screws etc, ordered a dragonfly hotend to go on the E34M1 toolhead I'm going to do at the same time.
I've most of it printed, tempted to get some black ASA to break up the red.

I picked up a sample of ABS and ASA, the ASA printed fine but the ABS split on the layers and warped quite badly.

in other news, I've picked up a dragonfly BMS hotend to go on the E34M1 toolhead.
it's pretty.
