England V India ***Clash of the Heavyweights*** Test, T20 and ODI Series

This has got ridiculous. Would like to see a double for I-Ron, that could propell him up towards the top 3 batsmen, and deservedly so - only Kallis has averaged more over the past 2 years and only Sachin, Cook & Kallis have scored more 100s.

Bell's transformation has been incredible, IIRC isn't it because he has been training with some kickboxing nutter and is now the hardest bloke on the team? :p

England's current onslaught is relentless. In their last 20 Tests, dating back to the tour of Bangladesh in March 2010, they have amassed 33 hundreds - 21 of which have either been undefeated or in excess of 147 - and on only two occasions, at Edgbaston against Pakistan and during Mitchell Johnson's Test at Perth, have they failed to reach three figures.
Utter win

Morgan gone.

What the hell are the England selectors doing? Morgan is captain of the ODI squad. WTF, come on, India has named Sachin, Sehwag etc in their squad, and England cannot reciprocate by playing a full strength team.

This is almost as bad as the effort put in by the Indians this series.

I don't think it should be taken as a slight to the Indian team. England traditionally play quite different ODI teams to their test teams. Granted they have taken the chance to blood many new players, but we have been batting for hours and hours in the tests, so why not give a few people a rest and give the new boys a chance?

I see what you're saying, but I was looking forward to seeing Pietersen, Morgan, Cook, Anderson etc.

Not Patel, Stokes, Taylor etc

It's good to get new blood in, but surely they need a few regulars in there to guide the players too?

Looks like the Oval ODI will be a walk in the park for India at least

Oh dear. I looked away from the cricket for a second, and looked back, and it looked like there was a left arm spinner bowling. I thought "who the hell can that be?!"

Turns out it was RP Singh :o

First One Day International
Ireland v England, Dublin, 10:45

surely that is a squad just for this game and there will be a senior squad for the "propper" ODI's?
