England V India ***Clash of the Heavyweights*** Test, T20 and ODI Series

Dravid coming out to open again :D

Has a batsman every batted for the entirety of 2 innings before?

Searching suggests it's not been done in international cricket:

Batsmen have also carried their bats twice in the same match (ie. through both of his team's innings) but this has only occurred on 6 occasions. A further 4 batsman have carried the bat in one innings and been last out in the other. None of these instances was in a Test match, but West Indian Desmond Haynes was last out in both innings in a Test, the only such instance in first-class cricket.[citation needed]

Blimey shocked they overturned that, Dravid out anyway.

Edit: even after about 20 replays I've no idea how the third umpire saw enough to overturn the on field decision, unless he's got access to a side on hotspot cos you couldnt see the edge of the bat on the one we saw.

This whole series has been a massive embarrassment to the Indians. Bunch of bottlers except Dravid for whom I have a lot of respect.

Dhoni batted a decent couple of innings in the 3rd test as well, the trouble for the Indians is you can't win tests with only a couple of your players performing well each test and like the commentators keep saying India don't like they have 20 wickets in them so maybe that has affected the Indian batsman mentally.

129-3 at close of play and still 162 behind. A very good forecast for tomorrow so all bodes well for another win.
