Its not a case of having to take one or the other, we dont need either.
There are 3 better right wingers than Walcott already in the squad, and If you count Lampard and Gerrard who can both play off a striker, 6 better forwards than Heskey.
They can both stay behind, and neither will be missed.

He had one to be fair, the header from the Gerrard cross...I don't remember any other opportunities, apart from the one which the Japanese defender pinched off his foot as he fancied getting in on the OG action!
Exactly, I mean if he cant find anyone better then still dont take them and save on the air fair.
The price they charge for extra baggage is a rip off as well, just think about all the tat that Heskey and Walcott are going to take with them.
There's a saving right there!
Have you ever seen him play more than 5 minutes in the past 2 seasons? Your opinion is WAY off.

Lennon is head and shoulders above Walcott and SWP, he at least does have an end product and can beat defenders. Walcott is living off 1 decent match fro England (a hat-trick if I remember) and SWP must be giving the manager some extras!

why play david james and emile heskey in that match? neither of them should be going - or maybe james as a back up...we know exactly.. and i mean EXACTLY how they both play, as we have seen them so often for club and country.
why not take rooney off and try 2 natural strikers to see how we could do when rooney gets injured or tired? surely these friendlies were i place to test such eventualities?

Why not take James? Who would you take instead? Robbo comes close, but not close enough for me.

well maybe as back up. but i wouldnt start him...which is why i wouldnt have started him in the friendly.
If Walcott is living off 1 good England game, Lennon is living off 0?
Lennon is a first team player for Spurs who had an excellent season as did Lennon. Walcott has been living of a one time international hattrick for years that he'll never repeat again and hasn't even shown signs of being able to do anything on the international front.

I seem to remember a few England games recently where Lennon impressed, and quite a lot of talk of him gaining a starting role on the right for England when Beckham was still a regular.
Lennon hasn't been given the chance to become a regular, and sticking him on the left against the Japs didn't help either.
Neither has Lennon though. Even the other night he was garbage, and had bags more space than Walcott, still, did nothing at all :/
