Awful performance I dont think their keeper really had much of a task today.

The players are meant to be playing for their place and I didnt really see anything from anyone, theres no creativty or flare at all.

It would have been nice to see some sort of experimentation being done and he played a diff formation for about 20mins and went back to same old thing.

We start to slow which we cant afford to do, its alright coming out 2nd half and upping your game but in the finals we could already be 2-3 goals down.

I cant see why we continue to play the 4-4-2 formation when Rooney doesnt really have a good enough partner. I wanted to see more of Bent/Defoe from the last 2 games we already know that Rooney will be going so why the need to keep playing him?

Needed to see more of Joe cole more of A.Johnson these are the players we should be looking at.

Not really bothered by the result or performance today, the most important thing was no real injuries, by the look of things anyway.
That means we've still got all the players who did so well in qualifying available :)

I was watching F1 - and given what you said in the transfer thread, what was Joe Cole like after coming on (from sounds of it from BBC site , as a 2nd striker behind Rooney - they state that JC was a good sub and bought the team alive)?

Difference between trolling and being critical, no?

There were some posts deleted, some were considered trolling and some were bordering on personal insults:)
who does this refer to johnny?

Everyone who had a post removed, criticism is fine but I think it has to be done in a way that isn't designed (or deemed to be) to annoy others & if anyone does take offence don't react, RTM it.
The majority of people in here won't want the WC threads ruined by bickering, it's going to be tense enough as it is:p

He didn't do bad, we were awful in the first half so it wouldn't have taken much to improve us anyway.
He was better than Walcott anyway.

If we'd won 2-1 against Brazil with 2 own goals I doubt we'd be as critical ;)

Well I wouldn't anyway :D

We may have played rubbish but its still a win in the record books and hopefully Capello has learn't a thing or two about his squad. Now lets hope he makes the right decisions on who to leave out :D

It was a horrible game, not helped by the bizarre selection in the first half.

I'm hoping Walcott and Wright Phillips and Heskey have already been given their dont come wednesdays.
