Really, I can summon no will to watch this rubbish (its bad enough in games that matters) I will for once opt to watch Xfactor as my first choice and then ignore the sunday and monday papers with pages and pages on how we are now the worst/best team and how we will win/go out the first round of the world cup and how Capello is the greatest/worst manager ever all hinging on one pointless friendly in which, as normal, the players won't try.

To be fair I suspect the England game wasn't rescheduled until AFTER his son announced his wedding day. It was supposed to be played on Friday but got moved because of the Spanish Cup.

Yea im hoping we get a good lesson today, So our players will realise they arent " special" they cant just coast through internationals.

I want England to win, same as always, friendly or World Cup semi, Sir Alf Ramsey or Steve Mclaren, Matt Le Tissier or Geoff Thomas, Gary Lineker or Michael Ricketts, 2 subs or 11 subs, rain or shine.

Maybe I should count myself lucky that I still enjoy watching my country play football, the last 10 years on the forums has seen a neverending stream of negativity, I hate Sven, I hate Schteve, I hate Fabio, I hate the primadonna golden generation, I would rather watch paint dry than England, I hope they go a goal down in the first 20mins so I can launch into a diatrabe on the internet, nothing will change unless we play a bunch of teenagers who've won sweet FA in the club game, anyone over the age of 25 is a has been....
