He's limited player who isn't that good at passing and is too OTT at tackling at the higher levels with football going the way that it is and everything being softly softly.
I learned long ago to never bother debating with you DM, your walls of text are too much for me. You have your opinion and I have mine there we go.
But here in lies the problem, he's a defensive midfielder, does that mean you'd drop Hart for James because James is a better shooter? Parker is the best defensive midfielder in the league this year, by FAR the best english defensive midfielder, and he plays defensive midfielder for England.
So playing someone with better passing in the wrong role will help? Its completely illogical. You can name ANY position and pick a part of their game that isn't as strong as another player, that doesn't mean you don't play them. Xavi's finishing isn't as good as Torres's(on form) does that mean you drop Xavi for Torres, no. Parker is however a very capable passer of the ball, not bad driving forwards but easily the best in the position we actually play him in so pretty much everything else is irrelevant.
If you wouldn't play parker who would you play as defensive midfielder?
But as with Purdy's argument earlier, your first argument was simply that he's good enough for the prem league but not international, this just isn't true.
As for the tackling, again, best english tackler, bar none, there is no fight from Fifa against tackling, but against bad tackler, therefore again the BEST tackler will be the least likely to get red carded.
