English & CL Football [6th - 10th Mar 2010] **spoilers**

That half was actually better than I expected, was far more like the 4-3-3 than the 4-5-1 it normally looks. We've been poor in the centre though, Gibson and Carrick have both given the ball away far too much.

Agreed with the CM criticism, they're giving Berbatov practically nothing. Evra not having a great day too and with Rooney out he's probably Man Utd's best performer

I can't help but think we would have been better off starting Diouf alongside Berbatov, perhaps we'll see him second half.

The only substitute we will see in this game is Park on for Gibson on the 70th minute.

The lack of intelligence shown sometimes in these type of games is astounding, Wolves are workman like and busy around the pitch, they are at home they need the points, they want to show they can compete, so we play one up front, Gibson who cant pass, tackle and lacks any kind of footballing brain, Nani on his wrong side, and Valencia nothing to fire crosses at.

As good as Berbatov is at doing flicks here and there, can he not do something else with the ball for a change. Every time he gets it, he has to flick it somewhere.

We need players running in behind Berbatov. Scholes has done it a couple of times but we need more. Valencia is too glued to the sideline, that's not what we need today.

Walcott had a great second half today after a slow start in the first half. Bendtner is so frustrating. He was getting in good positions but his finishing was horribly woeful. The poor bloke in front of me was having a nightmare after having bigged him up to all and sundry beforehand, stating he'd put money on him to score :p

Thankfully he's doing the hard things right, his build up play and movement was outstanding today, his finishing was the opposite, but they weren't all horror misses, a few went inches past the post, I'm sure the goals will flow soon, he's scored in his last few games and scored for Denmark midweek too. Great return from injury tbf.

Walcott was amazing today, especially in the second half, sure he'll get better and better.

I dunno, putting it wide from within the 6 yard box when it's been put on a plate for you (great cross from Walcott) is pretty horrific! He has a sense of humour though and was gesturing to the crowd as he came off that it just wasn't his day.

If Walcott gets a run in the side and builds some confidence from his performance today he'll be on the plane to SA.
