English & European Football [17th - 22nd Apr 2010] **spoilers**

LOL

And just LOL

What exactly are you laughing at?

Do you think it is acceptable for professional football players to wave imaginary cards at referees in order to get a fellow professional sent off?

Do you also not see the irony in that the same player then gets red carded for a despicable challenge?

Or is it only a crime when an Arsenal leg is broken?

Manchester United players* never tell a ref what to do.

Watford are still only two points above Wednesday :D We could jump two places if results go for us.

* meh I'm tired.

LOL dude chill your batty for a minute...i was just laughing at what was said earlier on...as for Ribery??..i dont care much for him myself...ugly little bugger he is :p

Yeh it was a bad tackle and he was red carded and rightly so...where have i said he shouldnt have been red carded:confused:

Meh as far as im concerned Ribery deserved to get sent off for that atrocious tackle...im not disputing that and why you would bring Arsenal into this is truly beyond me...goes to show that Utd fans think that they are still important in the grand scheme of things:p.

Oh and dont forget Utd players especially Irwin et all did a fantastic job of convincing the ref to send a player off in the past...makes me laugh that you Utd fans think your whiter than white.

Spawn just likes trolling United fans.

LOL just lol...trolling??....all i did was laugh at your utterly pathetic comment...no crime against that is there??...plus where did Utd come from this??, i havent even mentioned anything about Utd.

Robben was pathetic tonight. Every single time he was disposed he went down or flapped his arms demanding a free kick. Really hate players who think they can officiate the game themselves, should be carded if you start demanding free kicks like a child.

Ronaldo anyone? :p

Oh come on, I've seen at least two other times that you've been accused of it in recent weeks.

He was, until the deflection.

Yeah, not sure what you're on about, the ball was going towards the bottom left corner, the keeper dived right at first(his left) the deflection took it closer to the middle than it otherwise would have been. Had he dived to HIS right, it was an easy save, it wasn't that hard and was from a big distance, not a clue why he dived the wrong way.

Also agree with what someone said about Ribery, early season/summer talk about him costing 100mil euro's + made me laugh, Ribery wasn't as good as Malouda before Chelsea picked up Malouda and Ribery headed off to Germany. Malouda's been mostly crap since and other than the odd game Ribery doesn't look a 40million player let alone a 80mil + one Bayern were talking about.

Bit of a cheat, looks fast in a slow slow league, Robben wasn't actually half bad at Real but looks 5 times the player in a worse league. At 20-30mil he's still a big risk because no one knows if he could perform in either the spanish or English league.

Chill my batty  is this some sort of street jive talk regarding my posterior? :p

I didn't say you said he shouldn't be sent off, no idea where you got that

I asked you what you were laughing at as you seem to find it funny that United fans were pleased to see Ribery sent off.

I brought Arsenal into it to reiterate my point that it is ok for fans to dislike a player when they have caused a situation for an opposition player to be sent off, the Arsenal reference was to make it easier for you to understand. Would Arsenal fans have reacted any differently in a situation that led to the Birmigham player breaking a leg? or Shawcross? Or would you have all shouted "Hahaha Karmas a bitch ain't it"

Does that help you understand my point a bit better?

You still didn't answer my question.

Why are you so bitter against MU nowadays?

Is it a case of overcompensating?

I can see the massive journey Liverpool have had to undertake being the deciding factor here. I'll be happy if we keep to within a goal tonight.

Liverpool 11:
-------------Reina
Johnson--Carra--Kyriakos--Agger
---------Lucas--Masch----------
Kuyt--------Gerrard-------Benayoun
-------------Ngog

No surprises there; the only real decision to be made was Babel (with Kuyt then up front) or Ngog. Not convinced about Ngog as a lone striker; he's still a little too lightweight and can get isolated at times so hopefully Gerrard makes an effort to get up alongside him as much as possible.

edit: Regarding the journey; although it was nearly 3x as long as Barca's and Fulham's because we got a plane from Bordeaux, it didn't take as long as theirs.

Preferable to Babel anyday though, surely? :p
