English Football [1st - 5th May 2010] **spoilers**

Glad Palace have stayed up. They would have been safe before today if the officials had seen the ball hit the back of the net at Bristol earlier in the season. Well done Blackpool as well, I hope thay can finish the Job and get to the Premier League.

Blackpool in the Premier would be awesome :)

Reina is too good of a keeper for Liverpool, hope he can join a proper team next season and stop wasting his talents :)

haha

Liverpool are just a joke, hope Torres and Gerrard leave this season, be awesome to watch them in the bottom half of the league.

Considering we've played most of this season without both of them
for large parts I very much doubt that would be the case if they left. Although media worshiping monkeys like you just love the 2-man team thing. To be frank I don't think cashing in on gerrard, considering his age would be a bad thing.

As I mentioned on the previous page the sponsor is to the Liverpool/uk thing at shanghai world expo.

if they both left, so would mascherano and therefore that would be your whole team gona apart from reina.

liverpool arent a 2 man team, they are a 4 man team (reina, mascherano, gerrard, torres). the rest are all just fillers although if aquilani and lucas step up their game that could be a different story.

Congratulations Palace on staying up. They shouldn't have been down there anyway.

Mixed feelings about Wednesday going down. Feeling pretty smug amongst a lot of my best mates at the moment, but kind of sad that our rivalry is gone for a season at least. Always looked forward to the derby games.

Well, knew we would lose today, pretty nothing performance but I didnt really expect much of a performance tbh. Cant say I am particularly disappointed with the result :)

Time now to put the season behind us, sort out this Benitez issue and get the club into the hands of DIC

No i agree completely, but if the talk of new owners comes to pass I just think some people may be little suprised next season. With regards to reina, he's stated many times that he loves life at Liverpool, refrshing in modern football, his family are also very settled and happy so I doubt he'll be leaving any time soon.

The upside of not winning the league is that Fergie and the Board will realise changes need to be made, at the end of the day, the team with the most spending power will (and probably should) win the league.

Arsenal and United will probably be fighting for 3rd place after Man City next season unless something is done, it's really quite stupid all these billionaires buying success, where other teams can't (Not saying it hasn't happened in the past, but its more potent now).

I'm hoping some good signings and such will happen over the summer, nothing too stupid, I can see Man City buying a load of top players for outrageous amounts of money :p
