English Football [1st - 5th May 2010] **spoilers**

Good result for City...Villa never really looked like they were going to win it in all honesty.

4th place is shaping up nicely...still want City to take it rather than the Spuds.

LOL Pompey beating Wolves...

I don't quite understand:

1657: And of course, Liverpool's slim, slim hopes of snatching fourth are also over, so the race is between Spurs and Manchester City, with a point separating them and a massive game to come on Wednesday at Eastlands.

If that game ends in a draw, Liverpool are six behind with two games to go and they can certainly beat both on goal difference? So it's unlikely, but Liverpool can still get fourth?

We'd need to win our last 2, hope for a draw between City and Spurs and then Spurs to lose their last game and City to either draw or lose theirs. It's not going to happen.

With Everton drawing, our Europa League spot is guaranteed so I'll be supporting Chelsea tomorrow :p

League One is looking like it'll be an awesome finish!

2nd - Leeds 83pts
3rd - Milwall 82pts
4th - Swindon 82pts

Next weekend we've got these matches deciding the automatic promotion spot:

Leeds vs Bristol Rovers (9th place)
Milwall vs Swindon

Then your lot will be the next scalp for Citys billions in the next few seasons. Keep them down.

LOL wont only be Arsenal fella...Chelski and Utd will also have City snapping at their heels come next season....its inevitable that City will be splashing a lot of money come this summer or will try to...whether or not they succeed is another thing entirely...

Next yr i still expect us to challenge for the Prem title if Wenger brings in some new players who are consistent and not as injury prone as the ones we have now...think hes realised that he needs to buy a decent GK with a couple of decent defenders.

Well yeah, I accept it's unlikely but the way Caroline Cheese claimed that their chances are "over" seemed a bit premature?
