English League Cup Third Round 21-22 September **Spoilers**

lolDM. Almunia played well in the Sunderland game, he's been commanding in the air in all the games he has played in this season. Do you ever stop complaining? We can't bring anybody in right now so why don't you shut the **** up and enjoy the football for a change. Instead of constantly finding fault in even the things that don't need discussion. You even managed to complain about Song WHEN HE NEVER EVEN PLAYED!

I think you need to get a grip and decide if you're actually a 'fan' of Arsenal football club at all.

Chelsea Starting XI to face Newcastle: Turnbull; Ferreira, Bruma, Terry, Van Aanholt, Benayoun, Ramires, Zhirkov; Sturridge, Anelka, Kakuta.

Newcastle Starting XI to face Chelsea: Krul; Taylor, Coloccini, Campbell, Ferguson, Vuckic, Smith, Gutierrez, Lovenkrands, Ameobi, Ranger.

I cant see Given leaving tbh
I think he will. He very nearly did this summer, I reckon a loan deal will happen in January, but a club like Fulham is probably the only one they'd allow him to in the Prem. Roma/Celtic/Fulham are probably the most likely candidates.

If Given is such a good goalkeeper, why has every side that he's ever played in leaked goals like crazy? The "he's been playing with crap defenders" argument might work for a few seasons but he's been playing professional football for well over a decade.

Yes, he's a good shot stopper but too many other aspects of his game are weak. He's a top half goalkeeper rather than a top four keeper.

Yeap, totally agree with that, and that's being lenient. Another one of City's stop gap signings. He'll be one of the first to be replaced if they get into the top four, irrespective of how Joe Hart is doing they'll want another keeper.

I'm surprised that they didn't make a move for Buffon, he's a great GK.
