Good night so far, United through with a good performance, Chelsea out, City going out, Liverpool maybe as well

Quite impressed with Bebe, if you believe the Daily Fail there wasn't much to look forward to but he looked quite good more so than Obertan. Smalling had a good game as well :)

Yeah, he looked confident at least. DailyFail were wrong anyway weren't they, apparently he did OK for reserves? Be interesting having players like Nani, Obertan and Bebe, who all like running at defenders.

A Cup is a cup, be that league, FA, European (not got that yet ;) ) or league title.
 
lol, I couldn't care less. A cup isn't a cup when Chelsea have won the league cup many times but have never won the Champions League. 'A Cup is a cup' is a load of tosh. You'd have to be delusional to not believe that one cup holds more significance than another. Let me ask you this

A) What would you rather win out of the Champions League / League Cup?

B) What is more Important?

As I said I can fully understand all the smaller clubs being passionate about it but honestly, I'm over it already.
 
I agree that the league cup to say Chelsea or Man Utd this season isn't important.

But everyone else wouldn't mind winning it, some obviously a lot more than others.

I reckon Arsenal and Liverpool wouldn't mind winning it this year either

Exactly this. Whilst you're in it to win it there are priorities which are why both Newcastle and Chelsea fielded weaker teams than the normal 11. F.A Cup, Champions League and the domestic season is more than enough to be competing in.

The only downside to Chelsea going out is that it makes it easier for Arsenal to potentially win something for the first time in 6 years.
 
I'd like to win the CC yeah, but it doesn't leave me anywhere near as disappointed as crashing out of the SF of the CL, coming 1pt behind Chelsea in the EPL or even losing 1-0 to Leeds in the FAC.

When S****hopre scored I shrugged. When we scored I shrugged. I continued shrugging my shoulders until the end. It's nice to win, but i'm not going to care! :p
 
Disgusted with the Liverpool performance. We've been outplayed by a League 2 side who have shown more adventure in attack and have managed more shots on goal. Getting outplayed by West Brom at home was embarrassing, this is just pathetic. The commentators on the radio have ripped Roy and the team to pieces.
