And by the team he put out against spurs it seems like he is taking it a little more seriously. Either that or he made a deal with Fabregas that he could leave if they didnt win anything this year

It was a good balance between experience and younger talent. I was impressed by Lansbury's tenacity, he could be the answer to some of the mettle that I think we lack in the middle of the park, Song is fairly hardy as is Wilshere, but I think Lansbury is on another level in terms of aggression, a hard tackler who isn't afraid to get stuck in, Wilshere impressed me in this area as well last night. The amount of hard tackles he endured and each time he just got up and carried on, very impressive from the young lad. Even if it is 'only' the Carling Cup, it is still a trophy and trophies are welcome in my opinion, no matter what their significance in comparison to other trophies. I think we will be there or thereabouts in the league at the end of the season, I don't think it's realistic to say we will challenge for the Champions League though and with Man Utd our only real challenge left in the Carling Cup then it will be our best chance of winning a trophy this year.
Indeed, very well deserved win for Newcastle although a very large slice of luck in regards to both Benayoun and Kalou picking up injuries.

How many more players do you have that can play on the right? I'm not massively up to speed with the Chelsea squad.
Ramires and Zhirkov can play on the wing. Although Zhirkov usually plays on the left. Or Anelka can play there and cut in.

Not heard of or seen Ramires, Anelka could play there on the right I suppose, I'd say Zhirkov would only play on the left.
Ramires played tonight. He's our latest signing. Brazilian. Looking promising.

Hodgson. It would be nice if he at least tried to encourage the players but he doesn't seem capable of motivation.
