So many times Bayern have robbed the ball off UTD certainly looked more up for it, UTD seemed content to sit back and let them play.

Second leg setup nicely!

Whilst we were really poor, I can't say that BM were much better at all. They must have one of the worst posession:goals ratios in Europe, most of it was just about passing it around and doing nothing with the ball.

Two lucky goals for them - nine times out of ten that ball wouldn't have fallen for the second.

It's totally up to us in the second leg. If we go out and do that, we'll lose. If we go out and put in 10% effort, we'll walk all over them and then some.

Not commenting on Rooney until I know what the deal is.
 
Woeful from start to finish, complete non performance from midfield, didn't deserve anything from tonight's game. Big mistake choosing Nani over Valencia on the right. Evra looks shattered.
 
Lol @ Neville. Fletcher/Scholes/Carrick/Park did sod all today. At least there was an away goal, but lol @ Neville. Rooney with broken toe/metatarsal?
 
The way he landed there in obvious pain makes me think that he won't be at the World Cup. That just look way too much like a broken foot.
 
Provided Rooney is alright, I'm fairly confident with the away goal we can easily turn it around at Old Trafford, even if the Bayern team is a bit stronger, it wouldn't beat a Man Utd team playing like they should.
