By the letter of the law, Babel should have gone. But he didn't exactly put his hand there forcefully but rather just stopping the other person getting closer/saying what he was saying.
Can't really complain as once you raise your hands you should be off but the fact that the tackle on Torres that started the incident off only warranted a yellow is daft.
You can take someone down from behind, no attempt at getting the ball, you just want to foul/injure the other player with clear intent and that's a yellow. That kind of thing needs looking at.
