Does it matter? England have zero chance of winning it anyway.

Exactly If I was a manu fan I'd prefer him to take a knock that kept him out the world cup and rest for the new season, rather than slog his guts out to the quarter final to lose to USA 6-5 on pens ;)

I still maintain he won't make it there with his balsa wood feet.

See I made you talk about blackberry ;)

LOL you do make me laugh Tummy lol:p

Saying that i dont think Rooney is badly injured...he will miss this weekends game and probably the return leg at OT but from what SSN are reporting his injury isnt as bad as first thought.

Would be a massive massive blow to both Utd and England if he was ruled out for a number of mths....seems like hes tweaked his ligaments and if thats the case then i guess he will need to rest it for a few weeks??

I do believe Utd can beat Chelsea without Rooney, provided they play exceptionally well, like they will have to against Bayern next week.

Berbatov needs to be on his game on Saturday.

Indeed, it's definitely not a foregone conclusion. I still rate our defence, but we'd have to try something different up front (not the crappy lone striker thing we've been playing recently) Either someone right up there supporting Berbatov (either Macheda or Diouf or Giggs or Park) or just something unexpected.

to stand a chance against Chelsea Utd's midfield will have to work a lot faster and put pressure on the ball a lot quicker than they did last night, otherwise we will be taken to the cleaners:(

Our turn tonight. Have no idea really though Barca are heavy favourites. Saying that though their away form isn't great. If we can get a low victory while keeping a clean sheet we have every chance at the Nou Camp. Gallas may return by then and Cesc won't be carrying a knock.

Arsenal are going to need Barca to play very badly to win it, a draw might not be out of the question, but if they play well I can't see it going anywhere close to Arsenals way.

Excited about the game but very nervous about the result and having watched Messi over the last month or so I realise that any team can be at his mercy. I hope he's marked well and doesn't get going although that's a lot of hope. I think Arsenal will score and feel that Diaby is integral to the win and the midfield battle, he needs to play well and powerfully.

Arshavin should try too

I agree that Barca can be unstoppable but Arsenal are a decent side too and can score against this Barca defence. I think if Arsenal play well they can cause problems too

Arshavin not only needs to try and track back better, but he needs to have practiced his shooting. He can't take those first time shots at all it's woeful. :/

Arsenal: Almunia - Sagna - Gallas - Vermaelen - Clichy - Song - Diaby - Cesc - Nasri - Bendtner - Arshavin

Subs: Fabianski - Rosicky - Eduardo - Walcott - Denilson - Eboue - Campbell

Thierry on the Bench.
