The Ballack tackle on Tevez was worse, and he only got a second yellow.

I feel gutted for Ramsey, but equally so for Shawcross. He's been punished for the referees inability to deal with the emotion of seeing the break and the reactions of the players. It was just bad luck that Ramsey's foot planted that split second before contact :(
 
Thats not entirely true, Ramseys foot was always going to be planted, Shawcross was always going to be second to the ball, it really wasn't a 50/50 and Shawcross didn't have to kick out at the ball so hard, as no matter how hard he was going to kick it, the ball was just going to hit Ramsey anyway. It was rather stupid and does deserve a red card, but doesn't deserve any ridiculous ban or any witch hunt after the guy.

Glenn Whelan, good on the guy, it appeared as if he was trying to calm him down and thats probably the best thing anyone could do. Obviously you can understand Arsenal players being more upset about it, especially those closest who saw it happen.


As for James, I think his "I want to be Clark Kent/Christopher Reeves" haircut was the worst one yet, the big afro isn't new though is it, he's done that several times before. His dodgey, three musketeers era moustache and dodgey haircut a couple years back was also pretty god damned awful.

It was two years ago and he's still not back. He has had injury after injury and can't string 5 games together. It's very, very, very bad news.
 
Such a shame they'll be no Croatia at the World Cup, probably good for Spurs though because they won't get injured. :p
 
Spurs having most of the possession, Everton looking dangerous on the break though.
 
Spurs really do play some entertaining football. Our right side of Modric and Bale is just quality, especially now Bale has upped his defensive part of the game. Pav and Defoe look far more dangerous a partnership than Crouch/Defoe. Super Pav is just a better player than Crouchinho it's that simple.

Definitely. Redknapp should be doing all he can to keep Pav.
