English League Football [30th Jan - 3rd Feb 2010] **spoilers**

Well whatever happened he isn't a Man Utd player so I expect it'll get brushed under the carpet and instead, Rio will get two more games added.

Oh, and Evra will get a 3 match ban for it too. ;)

Why does Rio keep appealing :(. He obviously did it, just take the punishment like a man

because Rio is a **** (and as he is already in the middle of the original ban, its not like he can actually play at the weekend anyway)

On his day he is a better defender than Terry, but he hasnt had decent form for agessssssssss

When fully fit there isn't a better defender in the game, sadly this injury and it's secondary effect on his back has hounded him for 18 months, he's lost a little strength and pace because of it (which he will get back if he can get over it), but his composure and distribution have never suffered (aside from those awesome back-passes in back-to-back games a while back :p), even when he came back from 3 months out against City last week his quality showed.

It's the club not Rio.

Good to see you back dude. :)

imo he should have been sent off against City but meh

Nah. :p

He won't get anything as the idiot referee gave him a yellow and you know how the F.A. can't do anything if a referee has seen something.... or maybe not as they keeping changing how they interpret their own rules. He hit McShane cutting him open, I'm surprised there's been no fuss about it then again he doesn't play in red.

Ah well, not a lot can be done then.

I just wish we'd let it lie with Rio now - it's just going to get upgraded to five matches now and we'll be without a first choice defender for another match.

At the end of the day, it happens in a lot of matches but the FA aren't going to back down over it.

Spurs have been a bit unlucky with the officials but it's a cracking game. Tottenham looked like running away with it up until Defoe scored but fair play to Leeds they came right back into it after.

I'm not watching the first game on replay am I? Spurs dominating, missing chances left right and centre, Leeds snatching a goal having been under pressure for most of the half..

Leeds dominated the last 15mins, and have again looked dangerous on the counter. Spurs dominate possession and Defoe has wasted a lot of chances but we're a league 1 side...people forget this, mainly the commentators. They come out with some retarded things.

Snoddy is enjoying Bale down the right ;)
